Did you know that March 30th is Take a Walk in the Park Day?
It’s a simple yet meaningful reminder of how important it is to step outside, breathe fresh air, and reconnect with nature—something that benefits both our physical health and overall well-being.
This year, we chose to celebrate the day in a special way. With Easter just around the corner, we organized a fun and engaging chocolate egg hunt for the pupils of Şcoala Generală “Liviu Rebreanu” in Miercurea Ciuc.
The pupils worked in teams and followed a series of clues and small challenges to find the hidden eggs. It wasn’t just about the sweets—each task encouraged them to think, cooperate, and stay active. The atmosphere was relaxed, with plenty of energy, laughter, and a bit of friendly competition.
Spending time outdoors like this offers a different kind of learning experience—less structured, but just as valuable. It gives children space to interact, solve problems together, and enjoy being outside.
We’re glad we could mark the day in such a simple and enjoyable way, and we thank the pupils and teachers who took part.
