📏 Distance: 55,8 km / 501 m ↗ / 745 m ↘
🏰 Places visited: Dobšiná Ice Cave, Church of St. Ladislaus in Spišský Štvrtok
In the morning, we left the Gemer region and headed towards Spiš.
The landscape began to change—dense pine forests and majestic rocky cliffs started to appear.
Our first stop was the famous Dobšiná Ice Cave, which captivated us with its grandeur and cool atmosphere.
After this underground experience, we continued along forest trails in Slovenský raj (Slovak Paradise). This region is full of steep hills, deep valleys, and breathtaking views. Along the way, we passed numerous cycling routes winding through the natural scenery like ribbons. A peaceful silence surrounded us, broken only by birdsong or the whisper of wind in the treetops.
In the afternoon, we stopped in Spišský Štvrtok to visit the historic Church of St. Ladislaus. The place breathed with ancient history and offered us a moment of quiet reflection.
We arrived in Tesa in the evening—pleasantly tired, but enriched with new experiences and impressions.
