We started slowly in the morning, with a stop for breakfast in Seysell, and later we made another stop at an Aldi supermarket in Belley to stock up on some food and supplies. These small breaks helped us regain energy during a challenging day.
This day wasn’t easy. Bernardo fell and got a minor swelling on his hand. We also lost track of Dan a few times, which caused some stress and made us realize how important it is to stay together during the journey.
A key lesson we took from this day was to avoid taking turns too quickly and not to drift too far from Dan. Staying cautious and close as a group became a top priority.
Our team dynamics were strong — despite the difficulties, we managed to come together and support one another, especially when it came to finding Dan. That unity made a big difference and helped us finish the day successfully.
We camped at Étang de la Serre, an excellent spot with bathroom and a lake where we took a refreshing swim after the long ride.
